OK this is really uncanny and hard to believe, but the GOP is about to make the same mistake all over again. The similarities here are unreal. Just a little bit of history repeating.

It should be noted that Dole did attempt to run for the GOP nomination in 1980 but withdrew after garnering less than 600 votes in New Hampshire, realizing he had no chance against the Reagan Revolution.

    This guy is right, it’s basically a repeat of 1996 election which gop lost. Mccain will probably be 73 when he actually obtains the nomination, plus add on 1 more year of senate duty, the numbers def match. at least Dole was handsome lol.
